As a PADI 5 star IDC Dive Center, we offer some of the leading Divemaster programs, internships, and Instructor Development Courses in South Africa which are designed to prepare you for a successful global diving career.
At Into the Blue Scuba Dive Centre, we focus on delivering high-quality, professional training to ensure you become a confident and competent Divemaster. With experienced mentorship, including our in-house IDC Staff Instructor's support, you’ll receive the guidance needed to succeed in the dive industry. Our Divemaster course is flexible and can be completed at your own pace, ranging from a few weeks to a few months depending on your schedule, with a minimum of 18 days required for the practical component.
You will be supported every step of the way by a team who is dedicated to your success.
Knowledge Development: A key part of your Divemaster training in Cape Town is developing a strong understanding of dive theory and professional responsibilities. By the end of this section, you’ll have the knowledge to confidently answer questions and support divers at all levels.

When you arrive, we’ll sit down with you and design a personalised training schedule that aligns with your progression, confidence, and career ambitions.
What to Expect:
This approach ensures you don’t just complete the course. You get the most out of every dive and the entire course.
You progress faster, build stronger skills, and leave as a more confident, capable professional.
We you become a Divemaster, you officially become a member of PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). With this in mind, PADI bills you directly.
Payment for done can only be done directly with PADI. At the end of your course, when we certify you, you will receive a PADI registration form, which will require Credit Card details from you for the certification.
