introduction

Sodwana Bay is a scuba diving paradise! This 50 km reef has been classified as one of the top dive sites in the world with around 95 species of hard coral, soft coral, sponges and other invertebrates inhabiting the area. With more than 1200 fish species that call this part of the Indian Ocean home it is no wonder that the area is famous for scuba diving

While scuba diving you are bound to see animals such as Barracudas, Big Eye Soldier Fish, Black Tip Reef Sharks, Clownfish, Cod, Emperor Angelfish, Fusiliers, Lionfish, Morays, Parrot Fish, Potato Bass, Rays, Trumpet Fish, Turtles, Unicorn Fish, Whale Sharks and Yellow Snappers.

The area has much more to offer than just scuba diving with a active game and adventure sport industry, non divers will have a blast as well. These activities include quad bike riding, horse riding, kiteboarding and paintballing as well as day trips to Makhasa Game Reserve for Rhino or Buffalo viewing.

What have others said about Into the Blue Scuba Dive Center?

christycloake

Great Experience - I did two fun dives with Into The Blue (plus I also booked the shark cage...

through them) and I had an excellent experience. The communication via email was great and the brunette at reception (I'm really sorry but I didn't catch your name) was very friendly and helpful. My dive guide for the day was Jacque, who was also very welcoming and made the day a lot of fun. We did a wreck dive which was okay and then a dive with seals, and from my 800+ dives it was definitely one of my most favourite so far. JP was driving the boat for us and he was very attentive, the whole dive centre seemed very organised and I would definitely recommend them. The only disappointment from the day was that Llewellyn didn't ask me to marry him :)
Thanks a lot guys!

Had the best diving experience with Into the Blue, first...

dive was a ship wreck followed by doing yoga moves with the seals. Would highly recommend diving with these guys, very professional and fun! I sadly lost my go pro whilst diving with the seals but I'll always have the memories!
