< Bali » Scuba Dive Courses Cape Town

Bali, “The Island of the Gods”, is certainly a divine place to get your gear on and go for a dive. The diversity of marine life and dive sites is exceptional. One day can be filled with the magnificent Oceanic Sunfish, or Mola Mola, around the waters of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida, whilst the next you can be searching for pygmy seahorses in the northern area of Bali. The diversity of soft and hard corals in Bali, and Indonesia, is unmatched anywhere else in the world.

Tulamben has become world famous for the USAT Liberty shipwreck that lies only 40 meters offshore. With the highest point of the wreck reaching till only 5 meters from the surface and up to deeper points of 30 meters, this shipwreck is perfect for both snorkelling and diving, for beginners and advanced! Rich with sea life and coral the Liberty ship wreck is a beloved dive site for divers all over the world.

Amed Jemeluk Bay. This area is great for finding macro life with seahorses, ghost pipe-fish, frog-fish, crabs, shrimps and loads of nudibranch. Keep a look out for turtles and reef sharks that are often seen here in the deeper parts of the site.

Padang Bai Blue Lagoon. Blue lagoon has some very nice shallow reefs that are perfect for photography dives and night dives. There are huge coral bommies that start in around five meters of water. The fish life is amazing! This dive site is very popular with photographers due to the depth and quality of the marine life.

SANUR Sanur Bay. Sanur Bay has to be one of the most commonly dived locations given that it is the perfect place for PADI dive training. This Sanur dive site lies just in the channel and has coral reef running along the edge of the channel which slopes off into a large sandy platform.

MENJANGAN Menjangan Island has some of the very best diving with amazing walls, pristine corals, massive sponges and huge sea fans.

What have others said about Into the Blue Scuba Dive Center?

Great Experience - I did two fun dives with Into The Blue (plus I also booked the shark cage...

through them) and I had an excellent experience. The communication via email was great and the brunette at reception (I'm really sorry but I didn't catch your name) was very friendly and helpful. My dive guide for the day was Jacque, who was also very welcoming and made the day a lot of fun. We did a wreck dive which was okay and then a dive with seals, and from my 800+ dives it was definitely one of my most favourite so far. JP was driving the boat for us and he was very attentive, the whole dive centre seemed very organised and I would definitely recommend them. The only disappointment from the day was that Llewellyn didn't ask me to marry him :)
Thanks a lot guys!

I recommend anyone that is nervous or thinking twice to do scuba diving, it is the best choice you can...

I grew up on the sea, always wondered how it must be into the deep blue sea. Then one day me and my wife decided to do an attempt to do scuba diving and I was quite nervous about going under water but thanks to the Into the blue crew and their patience and determination me and my wife found a new hobby and looking forward to go around the world and scuba dive all around the world. So from me and my wife we want to thank Cape Town, South Africa, Into the blue, for what we have experienced and thank you for opening a new world to us! I recommend anyone that is nervous or thinking twice to do scuba diving, it is the best choice you can ever make!
