SHARK CAGE Diving close to cape town, south africa:

Brave one of the worlds most feared wonders, as you come face to face with Great White Sharks – while being in the protection of a metal cage!

Quiver with adrenaline as these gigantic meat-eaters glide through the Cape Town water only centimetres away from you.

Or, if you prefer, stay aboard and watch these magnificent beasts from above.

False bay and Gansbaai are some of the best spots in the world to watch the Great White Shark in action. Here you can enjoy the majestic splendour of one of the most feared creatures in the sea.

How does it work ?

Your shark diving experience starts off with a journey of about 1,5 hours to Gansbay. If you stay in Cape Town, our shuttle can come and pick you up at your hotel door.

Once you get to Gansbay, you will be treated to a light breakfast, after which you board the boat, and set off to go and do the shark cage diving.

Once you find the sharks, the boat thows out achor, and it's time to start with the shark cage diving. Participants take turns in the cage (up to 6 people in the cage at one time), until everybody has spent some time with the sharks. Participants who would like a second turn will also get a chance.

While you are not in the cage, you get to enjoy the view from the upper deck - you can also see the sharks quite clearly from here, and it can be quite funny watching other divers' reactions when they see a shark for the first time. You are also welcome to enjoy a snack at this time.
